I had a really good day! Today our class went on a school trip to an art museum of our city. All of the students in my class met up at the school gate at 7:00 a.m. and went to the art museum by bus. It was a twenty-minute bus ride from our school to the art museum.
After we got there, we watched a video first. It introduced the paintings carefully and we learnt a lot about the history and skills of painting. Then we spent hours enjoying some art exhibitions. There were many kinds of paintings from different periods. One even had a history of hundreds of years. But it seemed that we could still feel the feelings of its painter. The paintings were so beautiful that we took quite a lot of photos. In the afternoon, we bought some special gifts for our families.
One thing I learnt today: Art is long; life is short. It made me want to draw to record my life. All in all, today was such a meaningful and happy memory for me.
