Dear Emma,
How are you? I'm writing to share some exciting news about China's space exploration.
Last week, our teacher showed us the latest "Tiangong Class" from the China Space Station. The astronauts inside were doing amazing experiments(实验)! We saw how they "fly" in the space station because there is very little gravity(重力). They made a water ball float(悬浮) in the air and drank it. It was like magic!
We also learnt that China is exploring other planets. Our rover, Zhurong, is working on Mars right now! It studies the red soil and takes pictures. We know maybe there is water on Mars but the air is too thin for people, so maybe there are no aliens living there. But we still want to learn more about this "red planet".
From Earth, we use telescopes to look into space. But sending astronauts and rovers to outer space helps us learn much more. Our space station is a home in space where astronauts can live for many months. I feel so proud of what China has done in space.
I think exploring space is important for our future. What do you think? Please write back and tell me about space activities in your country.
Your friend,
Li Wei
