My Wonderful Trip Plan
This summer holiday, I plan to take a 3-day trip to Xiamen with my parents. We will go there by high-speed train, it is cheap and comfortable. During the trip, we will first visit Gulangyu Island, walk around the old houses and enjoy the beautiful sea view. Then we will try different delicious local food, and visit Xiamen University to feel the fun of school life there.
To make the trip more meaningful and eco-friendly, I will take a reusable cloth bag instead of plastic bags. I will never throw rubbish everywhere, and put waste into the right bins when I visit places of interest. I will also keep a travel diary every day, write down interesting stories and special things I meet. I will not buy bad souvenirs that do harm to the environment.
Travelling helps me learn a lot that I can't get from textbooks. When I talk with local people, I know different lifestyles and special local cultures, it makes my eyes open widely. It also teaches me to be more independent, I learn to look after myself well outside, and become more brave to try new things. I really expect this great trip!
