The super ice slide (滑梯) is the star attraction (景点) at Harbin Ice and Snow World. This winter, the size of the ice park is about 1.2 million m². Among its many attractions, the 24 super ice slides stand out. The longest is about 521 metres.
In the winter of Harbin, almost any kind of food can be frozen (冷冻的). The locals use the outdoors as a natural freezer for fruits, vegetables, and meats. Foods like frozen pears are beloved snacks among locals and visitors.
Ice skating
The Songhua River becomes a large playground each winter, providing many kinds of ice and snow activities such as ice skating, ice hockey (冰球) and snow football. Visitors can enjoy themselves there.
Harbin provides a special travel experience not just on the ground but in the sky. The Harbin Songhua River Ice and Snow Carnival provides a hot air balloon (气球) flying experience. These coloured hot air balloons fly nearly 80 metres above the ground, adding a special colour to the winter look.
