A hockey (冰球) game was on at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. A little boy named George held a sign. It said, “It’s my first game—George.”
The sign caught the eye of the jumbotron team. They showed George’s face on the big screen (屏幕) many times.
George’s mum, Chelsea Miller, said, “At first, he didn’t know his face was showing on the screen. He was shy. He just kept saying, ‘The red team is winning.’ His face kept appearing on the screen, and the crowd cheered again and again. He smiled only when he saw his face on the screen.”
After the game, George and his family were leaving the arena. Many fans wanted to take photos with him. Some asked for high fives (举手击掌) or his autograph (签名).
George really had a wonderful and unforgettable day!
