Meet the world's oldest female barber (理发师): She is 108, but the white-haired Japanese woman doesn't 1to retire (退休) now.
Shitsui Hakoishi says the recognition (认可) by Guinness World Records has made her very 2. She was presented with a certificate from Guinness World Records on March 6.
Guinness World Records have a 3for male barbers. Anthony Mancinelli from the US got the record when he was 107 in 2018. 4he has died. So Hakoishi is now the only one who has this record.

Hakoishi has been a barber for over 90 years and she says she got this far 5her customers.
Born on November 10, 1916, to a 6of farmers in Nakagawa, Hakoishi decided to become a barber at the age of 14 and moved to Tokyo, where she first practiced 7hair as a student.
She got her barber's license at 20 and opened a salon with her husband. 8, she lost her salon in the 1945 US firebombing (轰炸) of Tokyo.
It 9her eight more years before she opened a salon again, calling it Rihatsu Hakoishi, in her hometown of Nakagawa. Rihatsu is Japanese for haircut.
