Now many young people are wearing traditional hanfu, or Han Chinese clothing. You may see them eating, shopping, travelling or even working in hanfu.
Hanfu (the traditional Chinese clothes) is very popular with the help of our government (政府). Shows on TV also arouse(激起) people's interest in traditional Chinese clothes. As we know, the designs of hanfu always changed in different dynasties. But the clothes were usually loose(宽松), with sleeves(袖子) around the body.
Nowadays, people like history lovers, students or even young workers love hanfu. "Clothes are part of culture," said Jiang Xue, a member of a hanfu club in Beijing. "As Chinese, if we do not understand the knowledge of our traditional clothes or don't wear them, how can we understand all the other important parts of our culture?"
However, it still takes time for people to bring hanfu into their daily life.
