Plastic is all around us. We use it for water bottles, food boxes, and many other things. But most of the plastic ends up in waste bins. That's bad for Earth! Luckily, some people recycle old things to make new ones. Yan is one of them.

Yan is a creative person who loves helping the planet. He recycles plastic and makes it into the reusable straw(吸管). You can use it many times, not just once! He also makes strong bags from waste plastic. These things are useful. And they're good for Earth.
Many people recycle plastic. The plastic is taken to a place and made into something else. But Yan recycles plastic himself. He takes old plastic, melts(熔化) it, and then gives it a new shape. In this way, he makes useful things like beautiful flower pots.
