Lei Feng Day falls on March 5th every year. This year, our school organized students to go to a school in the countryside for a helping-hand activity.
The students there were very friendly. First, we donated books and other useful things to them. Many of us brought our own used but still good - condition books, new pens and notebooks. Then, some of us helped them clean the classrooms. After that, we had a class - sharing activity. Students from our school taught them some interesting English songs and simple maths problem - solving skills. And we also listened to the stories about their life, which were really touching. Through this experience, I felt the joy of helping others. It's really an unforgettable day.
