Do you know what free-time activities your parents did when they were young? Their childhood was full of simple, happy outdoor games. Let's have a look at two of them.
Rubber Band Skipping(跳皮筋)
This is girls' favorite game. They need a long elastic rubber band. Two kids stand facing each other, holding the band tight around their ankles. The jumper stands between them and does special moves — hooking (勾), stepping, jumping, and crossing the band while singing nursery rhymes(童谣).

As the jumper improves her skills, the band goes higher — from ankles to knees, then waists, and even shoulders or heads.
Stone Grabbing(抓石子)

she holds all five stones and passes this simple level. It needs quick hands and good eyes.
