A special dinner

Dad and Annie went out for dinner every December 18. But this year was special. Dad surprised Annie by saying, “I am taking you to a new restaurant. It gives foods from around the world.” Annie sighed and said, “I am not sure about those foods from other countries. I like my old favourites.” Dad smiled. Annie frowned. She looked forward to this dinner and didn’t want anything to go wrong.

When they arrived at the restaurant, Annie saw a sign and shouted, “Oh, that’s what you meant by foods from around the world!” The sign said, “Grand Opening. World’s Best Pizza, Tacos and Egg Rolls!” Annie was very happy to enjoy the special dinner from her grandparents.
