Maybe your character wants to be a singer but can’t remember lyrics(歌词) well, or needs to save a forest but his enemies are too powerful. Readers will be interested to know what makes your character do well in the end!
Next, be smart with the use of words. When the character experiences something, let readers “see” “hear”, and know how it feels. This helps readers know the writer’s ideas better. A good writer should not write down what to learn from the story directly(直接地). Instead, he or she should share lessons through a good story and the characters.
Finally, remember there are no perfect stories. Always ask yourself, “Will someone cry when reading this part?” and “What will people do about this problem in real life?” This habit will help improve your story and make your story shine bright in readers’ minds.
