Last Saturday was the Lantern Festival. I was very excited. My family and I watched great shows together! We got up early in the morning. We ate sweet yuanxiao Then my parents and I went to the square in our neighbourhood. We watched the dragon dance and the lion dance. Lots of people were there. All of them wore nice clothes and waited for the shows. The dragon dance was amazing. Dancers wore the same colourful clothes. The festival was full of fun. My uncle was one of the dragon dancers! He let me hold part of the dragon lantern for a minute. I was so happy. We had a warm family dinner in the evening. It was the best Lantern Festival ever!
