On 4 February 2025, a white horse became popular on the internet.
At about 1:50 p.m., a man fell into the Hanjiang River in Xiantao (a city in Hubei) by accident. He struggled(挣扎) in the cold river. His daughter, who was not able to swim either, jumped into the river to save her father. But she was also caught in the river. Just at this moment, a man called Yi Libai came over quickly on a white horse. With a flick of the reins(抖动缰绳), Yi rode the horse into the river. When asked what made him jump into the river, "I didn't think about anything else but just saving lives," Yi said to the reporter. He explained that horses could swim faster than humans and his horse was very clever. It could understand what he wanted to do.
Unluckily, the white horse got a high fever(发热) the next morning. A lot of animal doctors helped the white horse. But things got even worse in the next few days. It became blind and died on 11 February.
