七、阅读短文,选择正确的答案。
People all over the world need to get moving, according to a new study by the World Health Organization(WHO).
About 25% of adults do not get enough exercise. Because of this, about 1.4 billion people are at greater risk for serious diseases such as heart disease and cancer.
People should do at least 150 minutes of "moderate intensity(中等强度)" exercise each week, such as dancing or swimming. They can also do 75 minutes of a "vigorous intensity(高强度)" activity, such as running or playing soccer.
Then how to exercise more? Doctors suggest we don't have to go to the gym every time. For example, we can go up and down stairs a lot instead of taking the lift. If we don't feel we can go to a dancing class each week, standing on one leg for 30 seconds a day is very good, too.
The study also found that women are less active than men. 32 percent of women don't exercise enough. 23 percent of men don't get enough. Women usually spend more time at home taking care of children and doing housework, Time Magazine reported.
People in rich countries do less sport. For example, people in France and the United States exercise less than people in poor countries, like Pakistan and Nepal. This is partly because in rich countries, desk jobs take the place of manual labor(代替体力劳动).
