Spring is a good time for flying kites, so he would like to make kites. Peter wants to make a hibiscus kite(芙蓉花风筝), because the hibiscus is the city flower of Chengdu and it is beautiful.
First, Peter drew a hibiscus on a piece of paper. Then, he painted the hibiscus light red(浅红色). After that, he cut the paper and put sticks on it. Finally, he tied strings to it.
