In the afternoon, there is a dragon boat race on the Lancang River. At night, there are a lot of lanterns near the river.
The third day called “Bimai” is the happiest day in a year. It is New Year's Day of Dai people. On the day, people are dressed in beautiful clothes. They sing, dance and splash water on each other with buckets from the morning to the evening. Dai people think water is lucky. It means the best wishes for the new year.
