Ben was on his way to his grandma's house, carrying a big basket full of fruit. His younger brother, Tom, decided to help him. They used a pole, each taking one end. In this way, they could carry the basket more easily.
Ben started thinking to himself, “Tom probably doesn't understand how this works. If the basket is right in the middle, we'll both have to carry the same weight. But if I slide the basket closer to Tom, his side will get heavier, and mine will get lighter.” He smiled at the thought.
“However, I can't do that. Grandma always tells us to be good. I won't do something wrong.” Instead, Ben slid the basket closer to his own end of the pole. Just then, he noticed his side of the pole became much heavier than before. But he felt pleased because he had done the right thing.

答案
A 根据第一段第二句“His younger brother, Tom, decided to help him.”
2. C 根据第三段第二、三句“Grandma always tells us to be good. I won't do something wrong.”
