In most parts of the world, many students help their schools reduce pollution. They join the Environment Club. In the Environment Club, they work together to make our school environment clean.
Here are some things students often do.
No-garbage lunches
How much garbage do you throw away after lunch? The Environment Club asks students to bring their lunches in bags that can be used again. Every week they choose the classes that make the least garbage and report them to the whole school.
Car-free days
On a car-free day, nobody comes to the school in a car. Cars pollute our air, so remember: Walk, jump, bike or run! Use your legs! It has lots of fun!

Do you know that toilets can waste many tons of water an hour? In a year, that would fill a small river! In the Environment Club, students mend those broken toilets.
