The notice about the lantern show finally came out last Thursday. I was excited because my cousin and I planned to go!
In the afternoon, my cousin and I went to the park and waited for the show. Then we counted down and the show began! There were many beautiful lanterns. Some were in the shape of animals. Some looked like flowers. We walked around and looked at the lanterns carefully. My favourite lantern was a big rabbit lantern. It was so lovely. Finally, we took lots of photos with the lanterns. We were so happy!
In the evening, our family ate yuanxiao and had a big dinner for the festival. It was the best Lantern Festival ever!
