Nowadays, we have so many ways of communication. It's amazing how technology changes the way we communicate. For me, the youngest boy in my family, this helps a lot, especially with my brothers who are away at college.
To keep in touch, we use technology. We can chat（聊天） online whenever we want. I often text them and they always reply when they can. Sometimes, I call them just to hear their voices and we even have video calls to see each other.
But my brothers also encouraged me to try something old-fashioned（老式的）: writing letters. They said it was really a great way to practise my writing skills and take the time to share my thoughts. I start writing to them and it has become something I really enjoy. I tell them about my day, my problems and everything on my mind. They always give me good advice in their replies. The more I write, the better I become at expressing myself.
In a word, technology brings us closer, and so does the simple act of writing letters. Now we communicate every day through messages, calls, video calls and letters. It's like we're never really apart（分开的）, even though they're at college and I'm at home. We can share everything that's happening in our lives, and it feels just like we're still together.
