四、阅读表达
My name is Luna, and I am a red deer(鹿) living in the forests of Canada. Ten years ago, life was very hard. Hunters came with guns to catch deer. Our forest was getting smaller because roads and buildings were built here. Many of my deer friends disappeared(消失).
Then, things got better. The government said our forest was a safe place. Rangers(护林员) started watching the forest to stop hunters. Cameras were put up to find people who tried to hurt us. Workers planted new trees and built special bridges over roads so deer could cross safely.
Now, our group of deer has grown from 50 to 200! But there are still problems. Last year, a big fire burned part of the forest. We had to run away and search for food for many days. Winters are also getting colder and longer, making it hard to find enough plants to eat.
Still, I feel hopeful. Some humans are helping us now. A ranger once said, “If you survive, we survive too.” This means humans and animals need each other to live well.
