Summary
A man lost all his money. He and his three daughters went to live in a village.
One day, before the man went to the city, his daughters told him the gifts they wanted. Beauty, the youngest girl, wanted a flower and her sisters wanted dresses and something expensive.
The man got lost on his way home. He saw a big house and there were beautiful flowers the yard. When he was ready to leave after picking a flower for Beauty, the Beast came out. The Beast said the man could go, but that one of his daughters must come to live with him.
Beauty went to live with the Beast. The Beast was nice to her and she enjoyed living with the Beast. One day, Beauty found the Beast couldn't open his eyes or talk. Beauty cried. Her tears dropped onto the Beast. The Beast turned into a handsome young man. Beauty and the young man lived happily ever after.
The reasons why I like the book: It is interesting. And it teaches people a lesson — good things happen to good people, just like Beauty.
