Xi'an is in Shaanxi Province. It is a city with a long history. There are many fun places for people to visit, such as Bell Tower, Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, City Wall and the Terracotta Army.
Bell Tower (钟楼)
Bell Tower is in the centre (中心) of Xi'an. It is just like the heart of the city. Visitors can walk east, west, south or north from it to see lots of great places. At night, colourful lanterns light up the tower and it looks amazing.
Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (大雁塔)
Giant Wild Goose Pagoda is in the south of Xi'an. It is made of bricks (砖) and looks like a tall tower. People can
see many cultural relics (文物) inside it.
Terracotta Army (兵马俑)
The Terracotta Army is in the northeast of Xi'an. It has thousands of clay soldiers (陶俑). They are as big as real people. They carry different weapons (武器) for different jobs. Each soldier has a different face.
City Wall (城墙)
Xi'an City Wall runs around the city centre like a big circle. It is 13.7 kilometres long. It is one of the best-kept old city walls in China. Tourists can ride bikes or take slow walks on the wall.
