A 3-D-printed bike with no wheels
A British inventor has drawn

a lot of attention for his newest
invention: a bike that doesn't have
any wheels. The inventor is James
Bruton, who knows a lot about robots. He used big
balls instead of wheels. The balls can roll in any
direction. This makes turning a corner as easy as going
straight.
Scientists serve up a robot cake
Scientists and cooks produced a

robotic cake called RoboCake. It has
two dancing robot teddy bears on it.
The robots are safe to eat and taste delicious. There are
batteries we can eat too. *RoboCake's makers
say that by using robotics in food, they could help
reduce waste.

The UK's most powerful

supercomputer was turned on in
July. Supercomputers are computers
that can solve many problems at the
same time. The new supercomputer works so speedily
that it takes one second to work out a math problem
that would take the whole population of the
world 80 years.
Chinese scientists successfully cloned a
yak
A cloned yak was born on

Thursday in Damxung county,
Xizang. It weighed 33.5 kg, heavier
than most baby yaks. Reporters saw
the baby yak on Friday. It had a black coat. It was able
to walk and was in good health. The project started in
July 2023 with three groups working together.
