Meal time
Lunch is eaten LATER.(after midday, sometimes at 1 p.m. )
Dinner: around 7 p.m. or even later.
Being served
At the start of a meal: A guest will be invited to serve himself("Help yourself!"), or his plate will be filled by the host("Can I serve you?").
Refusing food
Given something you don't like? Push it to the edge(边缘) of the plate and leave it there.("I'm sorry. I can't eat this.") Offered more food, but can't eat any more? Just say, "No, thanks. It's delicious."
The golden rule : Watch the other people. Do as they do!
