Last weekend was full of fun! On Saturday morning, the weather was sunny and warm with a gentle breeze. My parents, younger brother, and I decided to go to Sunshine Beach. We packed our beach bags carefully—my mom brought sunscreen and hats to protect us from the sun, while my brother carried a bucket and shovel for building sandcastles. When we arrived, the beach was crowded with families. We built a huge sandcastle with towers and even dug a moat(护城河) around it. After that, we swam in the clear blue water and collected colourful seashells along the shore.
Sunday was completely different. The sky turned cloudy, and the temperature dropped. Instead of going out, we stayed home. My brother and I chose a funny cartoon movie, and Mom made delicious butter popcorn. We wrapped ourselves in soft blankets and laughed together. In the afternoon, we played board games and drank hot chocolate. Though the weather wasn't perfect, we enjoyed our cozy family time.
