Generally, national parks give safe homes to many plants and animals. They help keep the air and water clean. They also give us the best trips. Today, there are nearly 7,000 national parks around the world. Let's meet two famous parks together!
Sanjiangyuan National Park(三江源国家公园), China
It is the largest national park in China. It is the source(源头) of the Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Lancang River. So people call it "the water tower of China". It is also home to hundreds of wild animal species(物种). Look! There is a white heart-shaped mark on the goa's(藏原羚的) body. How funny!

Serengeti National Park(塞伦盖蒂国家公园), Tanzania(坦桑尼亚)
It's a dream land for animal lovers. The "Big Five" live here. They are the African lion, the African elephant, the African leopard, the black rhinoceros(犀牛) and the African buffalo(水牛). The name "Big Five" came from the five kinds of animals that were the most dangerous to hunt on foot. If you visit the park, you should never miss the migration(迁徙) of over 1.5 million wildebeests(牛羚) every year. This is the most famous sight of the park.
