Last week I took part in our school's Reading & Bookmark-making activity. We can make a bookmark to help us enjoy reading books¹. My favourite book is Journey to the West. I like the Monkey King best because he helps the weak and never gives up.
In order to make a bookmark², I prepared a card, scissors, glue and so on. First³, I cut the card into long strips. And then⁴ I drew a picture of a monkey on the left and wrote a famous saying to encourage me not to give up when facing difficulties. At last⁵, I glued it to a thin piece of wood.
Although I met some difficulties in this process, I never gave up and I was proud of myself.
