Saturday, October 19th
In the morning, we went camping in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a sunny day. We were looking forward to a wonder-ful two-day holiday. It's far away from our homes, so we took a bus there. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes.
However, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o'clock, there was a rain. Unluckily, we didn't bring an umbrella. We ran away but we couldn't find a place to hide.
We had to make a quick decision (决定) because it was raining heavily. Chris said we could put up a tent to shelter us from the rain, so Mary and Tom helped to put up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us warm. But we couldn't make a fire, because everything was wet. We dried ourselves, chatted and waited inside the tent. At about five o'clock, it stopped raining. We decided to give up the camping trip because all of us were exhausted and we all needed a good sleep.
This camping trip may not be successful but we know each other better. From this camping trip we learned to be well prepared(准备) before every trip. Another thing I've learned is that we should have team spirit.
