Uncle Bill's Farm
Read the passage and answer this question: What's on the farm?
Dear Mum,
How is it going? Is everyone well at home? I miss you all.
Everything is well. I really enjoy my life here on Uncle Bill's farm. It is such a nice big place that impresses me deeply.
The farm is in a valley between two hills. There is a stream around the farm and the water flows happily to the valley. There are ducks swimming gracefully on the water. There are green apple trees on the two sides of the river bank and beautiful birds rest in the trees.
On the green land, the chickens are looking for worms in the green grass. The cows are mooing leisurely. The horses are whispering gently. The pigs crowd together, enjoying their food.
There are no wide roads, no tall buildings, no noisy traffic, but everything is so beautiful. I can feel the sweet taste of the wind, and the brilliant sunshine. I hope I can come here again next year! Uncle Bill really hopes that I can stay here longer.
