C
Welcome to our school! We have 192 students between 8 years old and 14 years old. And we have 26 teachers. What's the school life like? Let's see!
7:30 a.m.~8:45 a.m.: Breakfast club!
Some students don't eat breakfast at home because their parents are very busy. To help them, our teachers ask the students to join the breakfast club. The students can get a nice and healthy breakfast.
9:30 a.m.~12:00: Lessons!
We have three lessons in the morning — maths, history and Chinese.
12:00: Lunch!
1:30 p.m.~4 p.m.: Lessons!
We have three lessons in the afternoon too — PE, music and English.
4:00 p.m.~5:00 p.m.: After-school club!
Students can do many things after school. Usually they play sports. Sometimes, they sing for our teachers to thank them for the breakfast club and some students are really good at singing. Our school also has a library and computer rooms. Lots of students like going there.
5:00 p.m.~5:50 p.m.: Homework club!
Many parents work late, so it's difficult for them to help their kids with homework. The club is a good choice.
6:00 p.m.: Time to go home!

Dear Lucy,
How are you? My family left New York for the UK. We are here for a month and we are fine.
Everything here is new to me. The weather is terrible and it rains a lot. The buildings are funny. They are in rows (排) and not high. I love them because the rooms are very big. I'm having a wonderful time at my new school and my new home!
Mum and Dad are happy with their new jobs. But my brother Jack doesn't like moving to the UK because he misses his friends so much.
I have lots of new friends at school. My teachers are really nice too and I am better at my English. After school, we can take part in interesting activities like doing sports, watching films or playing games. There's a park near the school. I often go there with other students at the weekend.
We are travelling back to New York for the summer holiday. I will visit you and bring you a present!
Write back soon!
Love,
Sandy
