This summer,I traveled to the Florida Keys,a group of tropical(热带的)islands in
the Atlantic Ocean.As a fan of the famous writer Earnest Hemingway,I visited his old
house and went fishing in the Atlantic.
In Hemingway's home,I was interested in the photos of Hemingway with the huge
fish that he caught.Hemingway was a good fisherman.He wrote his novels based on hiS
real-life experience.
The most exciting day was when I went fishing with my parents.As our boat headed
towards the Atlantic,we passed lots of beautiful sights.We arrived at our fishing place
and waited for ten minutes in the sun.There were no fish.I felt impatient and didn't
want to wait any more.But when I thought about my idol Hemingway and how he
fought with fish,I felt encouraged.Half an hour later,I hooked(勾住)a fish ! The fish
was swimming fast.My fishing line started to make a loud noise as I pulled it back.The
fish's power was much greater than I thought.Forty minutes later,the fish was tired
and with my father's help,I pulled the fish onto the boat t.
Many people think fishing is a relaxing hobby,but I think it is hard work.It truly
needs patience , confidence and persistence(坚持不懈).These can make our dream come
true.
