Berlin Zoo
Berlin Zoo is a very popular（受欢迎的）place in Germany（德国）. It first opened in 1844, which means it has been around for a long, long time. Tens of thousands of（数以万计的）people visit it every year, especially families with kids.
There are lots of amazing animals here. You can see giant（巨大的）pandas from China—they look so cute with their black and white fur and they love eating bamboo. The lions are from Africa. They are strong, with big manes（鬃毛）around their heads and sometimes you can hear them roar. Monkeys swing from tree to tree in their big cages（笼子）, and they often play with each other.
