Life is full of beautiful moments. All you have to do is to open your eyes and your heart to see and enjoy them.
The other day, a local primary school was just over, and I found myself behind a school bus as I was driving home. The bus stopped by a house sitting on top of a hill. A little girl, no more than 7 years old, got off the bus and started running quickly toward the house. The smile on her face was quite sweet. I looked up the hill to see where she was going. Her dad was waiting for her. As she got closer, her dad smiled and greeted her with a big hug.
My eyes watered a bit as I watched this scene. I remembered all the times when my own children ran into my arms with smiling faces. Every hug from them was a treasure of joy.
Suddenly, my memory was interrupted when I heard the car’s horn( 喇叭) behind me. I saw the school bus quickly pulling away, and started to follow it again. However, this time I did so with a fuller heart than ever before. I took that beautiful moment and stored it safely in my mind, where I knew it would remain forever.
One day, we all will leave this school of learning and love, and finally get to go home again. So enjoy your day here at school. Love and learn. But know that one day you will be going home where the hugs are eternal( 永久的) and the love never ends.
