My Favourite Story
My favourite story is *Yu Gong Moves the Mountains*.
Once upon a time, there lived an old man called Yu Gong. Two huge mountains stood in front of his house, blocking the way for his family to travel outside. One day, Yu Gong made up his mind to move the mountains. When his neighbors heard about it, they laughed at him, saying he was too old and weak to finish such a huge task. But Yu Gong didn't care about their jokes. He and his family kept digging the mountains day after day. Finally, his perseverance moved a god, who sent two immortals to take the mountains away.
From this story, I learn that perseverance is the key to success. No matter how difficult the problem is, as long as we stick to our goal and keep working hard, we can make it. As the old saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way." This story always encourages me not to give up when I meet difficulties.
