I’m John. I’m always interested in magic tricks. I spend a lot of my free time learning and practicing different tricks.
One day,I was performing some simple magic tricks in the park. There were a few people watching,but one person seemed particularly interested. It was a boy about my age.

Making Friends Through Sharing a Hobby
My hobby is reading books. I share it with Lily, a girl in my class. One day, I saw her reading my favorite storybook in the library. I walked up and talked about the book with her. We found we both love reading and have similar favorite writers. Then we started to share books and discuss stories after school. Gradually, we became good friends. From this experience, I learned that sharing hobbies can help us make friends easily. It’s great to have a friend who shares the same interest.
