More and more foreign visitors are surprised by Chinese-style safety. They say travelling in China makes them relaxed, and they never worry about their personal safety.
During May Day, lots of foreign tourists visited Shanghai. They hung out, enjoyed sights, went shopping freely and they even found they could walk alone late at night safely. “We can leave our bags in hotels without feeling worried. What a safe city Shanghai is!” they told a reporter.
Foreign guests also speak highly of the kindness of Chinese people. Though they speak different languages, Chinese people are always glad to show the way and help foreigners solve problems. In Shantou, an American student left her passport in a taxi. The driver found it and returned it to her at once. Foreigners can carry phones and bags casually(随意地)
on the street. People trust each other very much.
In Guiyang, a Russian woman has lived there for many years. She not only enjoys rich night life and local food but also loves the slow life and friendly environment. She shares her experiences online to invite more friends to visit China.
With the government and people's efforts, China is making itself a comfortable and safe place to travel and live.
