Dear Jack,
Thanks for your email. Don't worry about me. I'm fine. Now let me tell you the situation at that time.
When the earthquake happened, I heard some loud noises. I could feel the ground shaking.
I was too scared to think about anything. At that time, my father was driving home.
My mother was washing clothes while I was surfing the internet in my bedroom.
After realising what was happening, my father stopped driving and found a safe place to stay. My mother and I ran out of the building as quickly as possible, but in order.
The earthquake made our city in a mess — lots of people were hurt and many homes were broken. But thankfully, it didn't last for too long. We were all safe. And I've learnt that it's important to face disasters with courage.
