Saturday, September 14th Clear Night
Today is Mid-Autumn Festival! I spend it at my friend Yaming's house. It's so fun. First, We help to set the table in the yard. Then, I try making mooncakes with Yaming's grandma. Mine are a little messy and funny-looking, but she says they're special because they are made with joy. Dinner is delicious! We eat roast duck, and lots of autumn vegetables. After dinner, we eat the mooncakes. The best part is when we sit together, looking at the big, bright moon. It looks so close and wonderful. I feel so warm and happy. Mid-Autumn Festival is about being with family, sharing food and the beautiful moonlight together. I can't wait for next year!
