三、阅读理解
Where does the wind come from? How does the wind form? And what makes the wind move all the time?
Scientists tell us that the sun is the main reason. When the sunlight shines on the land and water, they get hot. Then the hot land and water make the air warm. The warm air is light(轻的), so it goes up. The cool air moves in to take the place of the warm air. Warm and cool air move from place to place and that makes winds. ▲
When the wind changes its speed, it often brings a change in the weather. When the air moves slowly, it makes breezes. But when the air moves very fast, it makes big winds. It can also tell us a lot about what the weather will be like. Air over the land is dry and that over the water is wet. Winds from the land or the water bring different kinds of weather. Some winds bring sunny or dry weather and others bring rainy or wet weather.
