First, I made great progress in my English study. I kept reading 20 pages of easy English novels every day during the vacation, and I mastered more than 200 new English words, my reading speed also became much faster.
Second, I learned a new life skill — swimming. My father taught me how to swim in the community swimming pool, after two weeks' practice, I can swim freely now. I know swimming is a very good way to exercise and protect myself when meeting danger.
Third, I helped my parents do housework every day, I even learned to cook tomato and egg noodles by myself. I finally realize that it's really not easy for my parents to take good care of the whole family.
I also spent a week visiting my grandparents in the countryside, I picked fresh peaches on the farm and fed the little sheep on their farm, that was a very special happy experience. This summer vacation is really unforgettable for me.
