Do you know an old city called “Pingyao” in Shanxi? The old city is not far from Taiyuan, the provincial capital of Shanxi Province. It's quite easy to get to Pingyao from Taiyuan.

Pingyao is a place worth a visit. You can take buses or trains to come here. It takes about 2 hours to get here by bus from Taiyuan. It costs you about 20 yuan. Taking a train is faster. It takes only one and a half hours from Taiyuan.
