五、时事热点 阅读理解。
Zhang Xue, the founder of Zhang Xue Motorcycle, is a self-made Chinese pioneer in the motorcycle industry. Born in 1987 in Hunan, he had a hard childhood with his parents divorced. At 14, he dropped out of school to work as a repair apprentice, driven by his deep love for motorcycles.
At 19, Zhang Xue rode over 100 kilometres in the rain to seize a chance with a professional racing team. He then worked as a stunt rider and mechanic, gaining rich experience. In 2013, he moved to Chongqing with little money, starting his motorcycle business in assembly and modification. In 2017, he co-founded Kaiyue Motorcycle, and in 2024, he set up his own brand—Zhang Xue Motorcycle.
In March 2026, Zhang Xue Motorcycle made history at the WSBK Portuguese Station. Its 820RR-RS racer won both races in the WorldSSP class, breaking the decades-long monopoly of European and Japanese brands. This was the first time a Chinese motorcycle brand claimed a top-level world championship.
Zhang Xue's success comes from years of hard work, perseverance and a never-give-up spirit. From a poor repair apprentice to a world-famous brand founder, his story inspires millions of young Chinese to pursue their dreams bravely.
