Projection mapping: a dynamic 3D digital art
Projection mapping is an amazing form of 3D digital art that brings ordinary objects to life in vivid ways. A striking example from China is the nightly projections at Chongqing’s Hongyadong, where traditional stilted houses are turned into a canvas for vivid cultural stories.
Unlike traditional projection, which is limited to flat screens, projection mapping turns any 3D object — whether a building, a car, or even a cake — into a dynamic, living canvas.

Artists use projectors, computers, and special software to wrap images around every curve and angle of the object, just like wrapping a gift. Both still images and videos can be used, blending the physical and digital worlds to transform everyday items into immersive art.
Flash mob: art of surprise
A flash mob is a modern form of performance art that turns public spaces into temporary stages. A group of people suddenly gather in a crowded place, put on a brief performance — singing, dancing or both — and then leave quickly to surprise onlookers. One famous example took place in Berlin, Germany, a Chinese youth group surprised locals with a flash mob featuring dance in Hanfu, dragon dances, and the song Xiang Qin Xiang Ai to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Flash mobs show that art doesn’t have to be in museums. It can be fun, surprising, and accessible anywhere, to everyone.
