Peter is an eighth-grade student and he lives in Haikou.
During the Dragon Boat Festival every year, his family often take a trip to nearby cities, such as Danzhou and Sanya. But Peter always hoped to visit Shanghai. This year, his dream finally came true. He spent a good vacation in Shanghai.
On 8th June, Peter’s family took the train to Shanghai. After having a break at the hotel, they set off to visit Zhujiajiao Ancient Town by subway. There were many interesting activities in the old town from 8th June to 10th July. After arriving there, they tasted many local(当地的) foods first. They also took a boat tour and enjoyed the lanterns.
On the second day, Peter’s family went to Shanghai Haichang Ocean(海洋) Park. They not only watched many ocean animals, but also joined in some traditional activities at the festival. For example, they made zongzi and joined a dragon boat race. They were so interesting.
At Life Hub Square, there were four music concerts. Musicians played Chinese and Western musical instruments(乐器). On the last day, Peter’s family enjoyed the old Shanghai songs and guangfeng music at the concerts. They also went to Jiaobei Country Park. They had fun at a music festival and took many photos.
