博物馆的仓库是什么样子的?请阅读下面短文,根据短文内容从每小题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
How many collections do you think a big museum holds?
Many have millions of things in their collections, but you usually only see a small part of them. Experts say you usually see about 3 percent because there is not enough space to show everything. Most collections just stay in storerooms(贮藏室).
But museums are trying to let people see more. For example, the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London, the UK, opened the V&A East Storehouse on 31 May 2025. It shows more than 250,000 artefacts. This is about 9 percent of the museum's 2.8 million objects! The V&A East Storehouse is not a dirty basement(地下室). It has open shelves and glass walkways, so you can see the treasures better. But it's not a regular museum, either. You'll see train tracks for moving boxes and cloth bags. The lights turn on when someone walks by. This helps protect the collections. The idea, the V&A says, is to take visitors behind the scenes of the museum's collections.
The V&A is not the only one. Many museums, such as the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, are also opening their storerooms.
"We want visitors to learn what a collection is, how we store it ... how people work across the museum," the V&A East Storehouse's senior curator(高级策展人), Georgina Haseldine said.
