I was 14 years old when this embarrassing experience happened. It took place in our school dining hall last month.
That day I went to buy lunch as usual. I saw my favorite fried chicken on the counter, so I rushed over quickly and stepped on a piece of watermelon skin on the ground. I slipped and fell down, all the things in my school bag dropped out. My face turned red right away, and I felt so shy and embarrassed that I did not dare to look at other people around me.
Just then, two of my classmates who were nearby came up to help me stand up, they picked up all my things and asked me if I got hurt. Many other students around also did not laugh at me, they helped me pick up my books too.
At last, I stood up with their help, and my classmates bought me a cup of warm milk to make me feel better. That day I did not get hurt, and I learned that kindness can always turn an embarrassing moment into a warm memory.
