Last summer, May Green joined an international summer camp. On the first day, she met teenagers from different countries. When she met a girl from Korea, the girl bowed and smiled. She was a bit surprised but bowed back. Then, a boy from Japan gave her a deeper and more formal bow when he said hello. She also bowed back. After that, a boy from the UK smiled, looked into her eyes, shook her hand and said, "Pleased to meet you." She smiled and shook hands with him too. That was her first exciting cross-cultural experience.
