When we talk about protecting the environment, we must also discuss renewable(可再生的）energy. Coal, oil and natural gas all produce pollution when they used for energy. What's more, one day they will all run up. However, renewable energy does not produce harmful pollution and can never be used up.
The best example of renewable energy are wind power, solar power（太阳能）and water. Wind power uses the wind to turn large fans. These produce electricity（电）. There are two kinds of solar power, one uses the sun to make water warm. This warm water is used for cleaning and baths, and to keep your house warm.
